About the Ohio Veterinary Medical Foundation

OAHF

The Ohio Animal Health Foundation is dedicated to finding solutions to the problems animals and their caregivers face. A non-profit organization that is affiliated with the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, OAHF’s vision is to improve the future of animal health.

The Foundation is guided by a group of veterinarians from around the state. All grant funds and donations are distributed by this group of animal care experts. Since 1974, the Foundation has been involved in a diverse range of projects, from disease and pet overpopulation to training and disaster relief.

The organization focuses on improving the health and welfare of animals as well as promoting public health and responsible animal ownership. Through the efforts of Ohio veterinarians and the funds provided by animal lovers, OAHF supports educational, research and service programs that enrich and extend animal care in important ways.
